I am thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our journey: The Deck London is rebranding to Knatchbull. This change marks not just a new name, but a celebration of our growth, evolution, and unwavering commitment to empowering women through bespoke tailoring.
When we first opened our doors in 2019, we were The Deck - named after the four suits in a deck of cards, representing our initial four made-to-measure styles. It was a fitting name for our beginnings, and represented a ‘reshuffling’ of the way we thought about Savile Row, but in just five short years, we've expanded far beyond those initial offerings. From four styles, we've grown to over 30, encompassing not just jackets, but trousers, dresses, skirts, coats, and more.
Our journey has been marked by numerous milestones. We became the first and only women's tailor to have shopfront on Savile Row, forever changing the ethos of a street which boasts over 200 years of tailoring history. We have had the privilege of dressing over 2,500 global clients, hosted trunk shows throughout the UK, Europe, and US and in a testament to our commitment to ethical business practices, we also became the first B Corp certified business on Savile Row.
With our inaugural ready-to-wear collection already bearing the Knatchbull name, this rebrand feels like a natural progression. It's a nod to our heritage, a celebration of how far we've come, and a bold step towards our future.
The name Knatchbull represents not just my legacy, but the legacy we're building together - a world where women have access to the same sartorial power and confidence that bespoke tailoring has traditionally offered men.
While our name is changing, our commitment to you remains steadfast. We will continue to offer the same exceptional craftsmanship, personalised service, and empowering experience that you've come to expect from us.
